Review & Description

It's fitting that the world's tallest tree, the redwood, can now help you chronicle your child's growth as they progress from tiny tot to towering teen, seemingly overnight! Made from durable laminated cardstock, the gorgeous growth chart has lots of hidden animals for children to discover, and includes a full color insert with animal art by Greg Newbold. Like the giant redwood tree, this growth chart is also much larger than others of its kind. Redwoods are ancient trees that have been around for more than a millennium. Redwoods grow from tiny seeds in cones, or sprout from old roots, snags and burls. They thrive in the cool foggy climate near the coastline. A portion of the proceeds will help support the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, a nonprofit membership organization created to enhance the experiences of park visitors, preserve the Golden Gate National Parks, and foster a community dedicated to park conservation. Since its inception in 1981, the Parks Conservancy has provided more than $140 million for the Golden Gate National Parks, and is recognized as one of the largest and most effective park partners in the country. Made in the USA. Size: 6'L x 17"W. Read more
